What
drove the decision to convert to RxAdvantage?
We decided to use Rx Advantage, Inc., and the Rx Advantage Pac because
we needed to increase productivity, which provides more time for
patient care and life enrichment programs. We also needed a safe and
secure method of ensuring that the right patient received the right
medication, and the right dose at the right time, and that is what
RxAdvantage provides.
What
are your thoughts on the Rx Advantage implementation process?
I have gone through two different implementation processes. First at a
new facility, we started using the Rx Advantage Pac from the beginning,
and then at an existing facility where we transitioned to the Rx
Advantage Pac. In both cases Rx Advantage, Inc., provided tremendous
support throughout the process. They were there with us hand-in-hand. I
was very happy with the support we received.
What
do you like most about the Rx Advantage Pac method?
The Rx Advantage Pac has increased productivity by saving med-techs as
much as 20 minutes per hour on the med-pass. The Rx Advantage Pac
provides an additional level of safety and security for both the
patient and the med-techs.
How
is the Rx Advantage, Inc., customer service?
Rx Advantage, Inc., is very dedicated to customer service. They have
been very responsive to our changing needs, from emergency deliveries
and refills, to changes in medication, Rx Advantage has always been
there to help.
Would
you recommend Rx Advantage, Inc., to a peer or other facility?
Yes. If a facility is looking for ways to increase productivity,
decrease medication errors, and increase the confidence that patients
have in the medication management system, I would suggest they find out
